Nascar is expanding pretty rapidly. Europe is getting more and more exposure. Australia built a stock car track years ago. The sport is going to continue to grow and change. It is not the same sport I grew up with in the 80s, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't peaked, yet. I do think it's funny that Fontana doesn't sell out any of its Cup races. I guess race fans in that area have other things to do. I wonder if we'll ever see two top level divisions like the American League and the National League. It's working for football and baseball. Two races every weekend. Might be possible.

They have gone international with the race in Mexico.. But I think they should stay in the USA. NASCARS needs to continue to expand within the USA to keep the racing flame alive. Racing is a dying hobby with more and more small tracks closing every year. The small tracks are the breeding grounds for NASCARS future! The exposure from a large track nearby with one race a year will help keep the small tracks running throughout the summer.

Well I dont follow to much Nascar even though I live in the states. But it is one of the fastest growing sports here. And yes they should internationalize, why stop at the states when you could conquer the world!

Nascar is getting too big and they are completely shunning their roots, They have shut down older tracks that couldnt hold over 80000 people because the France family is all about the money. It will be in Mexico and Canado for sure within the next few years. Corporate sellouts.

NASCAR stands for North American Stock Car Auto Racing. in order to compete, you must drive an American built car. since Toyota Camry is built in the u.s. it is technically a domestic car and therefore falls under the rules of eligibility. so to answer your question they have not gone international. there is just a widening base of domestic cars. just because the check at the bottom line goes foreign does not make it an international sport.

Can't stop it, they are all the same exept the decals. Toyota and Honda build cars here in USA, Honda will follow Toyota in about two years into NASCAR.
I'm a long time NASCAR fan. Already going to local race tracks where the racing is intense.

I think they should, why not??? that will be more exposure for the Sport and the drivers, and i'm sure we would still be able to watch it on tv so don't worry if they go to different tracks, they'll still be there on tv

they should continue growing, then you get the best cars and the best drivers in the world, not just a bunch of hacks who couldn't make it on the world seen, and you will also get a true world championship

I guess it has peaked in America.Thankfully it's not widely shown in Europe because it's so stupifyingly boring.Have you not heard of steering to the right occasionally.
