I can't do it, but now my arm hurts!

It is for some people, and not for the others, it's a matter of genetics, such as I can bend my thumb backwards, all the way, AND NO I'M NOT DOUBLEJOINTED THERE'S NO SUCH THING, (it's really weird, though) and some people can make their tongue touch their nose, and some people can lick their own ELBOW.

i have an extremly long tounge like so long its unattraktive and i can to do it so yes i guess it is
i have heard of one retaded guy who hung a weight from his tounge so that he could make it longer and he eventualy was able to lick his elbow...but no person is born with the abbility do do so or with delelop the abbility

I can't lick mine (believe me, I've tried...many times), but I know a couple of people that can, but it's kind of gross to watch because they have to kind of dislocate their shoulders. EWWW!

i can lick mine, so i don't think it's true, but i have seen LOTS of other people who can't so maybe it's not the norm.

No....you can be double jointed to do or have a really long tounge.

You just have to be flexible.
