Whether or not you believe the relationship might have worked out, you continue to grieve after they are gone from your life; not just for the time you had, but for the future you dreamt of when you were still together.

It may take a long time, but it will get better.

I know what u mean, I just dumped my bf after a long term relationship. He was online all the time. I didnt care at first but then I found out that he was chatting with girls sexually with an alias. I dumped him.. I luv him but I was so disrespected. I dont know where it will take me cuz luv is a hard thing 2 get over.

because love is unconditional... you care so much about that person and have put so much of yourself into them that when they leave you, or things don't work out right, it's more than just a goodbye: it's almost a Rejection of all you have felt and done for that person. one of the strongest emotions and most uncontrollable...can't choose who you love, can't figure out why you love them, and to live without loving them can be unbearable at times. whether a relationship, or loving your children, family, etc.... if that person is gone for any reason, to get "over it" is pretty much impossible... but time heals all wounds and you may be able to move on. and that takes work too, as well as time.
