They're both mindless entertainment, but at least American Idol has a goal that people can relate to: to be a pop star.

I really like American idol because they learn as the weeks go by and they improve so much you can see them growing into better entertainers . I always have a favorite singer that I vote for every week. I like it that they can have an off night and still go on if they don't get voted off. I never dreamed that Taylor would win.......I voted for katherine all the way through. I like Taylor and see him daily in the ford commercial.

Definitely So You Think You Can Dance. I love to dance so watching other people get trained to dance and actually perform the different styles of dance is so much fun. I love it !

American Idol is the original, the best. That's all there is to it. The other is just plain ridiculous. It SUCKS!
