Nope, I like the two trilogies, the old one better but the new one had some interesting ideas (the acting was poor and it lacked the ironic sense of humour of Harrison Ford).
Overall, the idea that evil comes from excessive attachment to the past is a good one. Politically, the SW films are very anti-conservative (conservative understood in its broadest sense), so I can see why many people hate them now, when the conservative climate in North America is strong.
Yet, overall, I'd rank them like this:
Phantom Menace -- 4/10
Attack of the Clones -- 5/10
Revenge of the Sith -- 7/10
A New Hope -- 8/10
Empire Strikes Back -- 9/10
Return of the Jedi -- 7/10

I thought it was a great movie! Episodes 2-6 were all great. Episode 1 was the only real disappointment because we really didn't need an entire movie for that.

I didn't hate it, but after all the build-up I was disappointed that all it took to turn Anakin into Darth Vader was some bad dreams and an unresolved Oedipus complex.

yes. yeah we got to see darth vadar come to life and we got to see little luke and leia but for all the hype that came with it, wasn't worth it. lucas should've left the writing and directing to someone else with a more fresher point of view. seems like he was just doing this to prolong the series and make a lot more money in corny advertising and gimmick products.

You're going to get mad? Okay, then I loved it. After all, who doesn't love bland, wooden acting, cliched dialogue and a predictable story?
Note: it was a terrible film.
