me and my friends will trade peices of paper that say we are giving each other our souls, to recieve different thing in return. Does this really garentee someones soul? If not how can we gaurentee it?

I think it would be more correct to say your soul possesses what you define as "you." This would suggest that you do not have the right to sell your soul any more than your pet cat can transfer ownership of you to another cat.
