If I were in a situation as such, I'd Keep my mouth and nose covered with my hands, saying, "excuse me, folks." and let myself out of the crowd. Regardless of how people look at me, though, and I'm sure many of them weren't even aware of what happens around them, (sneezing is too common to be noticed. Most of the considerate people will automatically say, "God bless you!") --- And even if they discover the ugly goober covered behind my hands, they know it's an "accident" that can hit everybody. After that, I'd simply tidy myself up and go about my day. It's nothin' to be embarrassed about if I don't make a scene of it and just let me by the crowd quietly.

Get a tough attitude and do what John Wayne would've done: Take that hand away from my face, shake the goobs off toward the floor with my head held high, and make direct eye contact with the biggest sonofabich in the crowd as I walk on my merry way.

Carefully wipe my hands on my pants in a spot where no one will notice the "goobers" or ask someone for a tissue.

I guess i'd keep my hands clasped together, apologize profusely while grinning like an idiot, then make a beeline to the nearest washroom. After i had washed my hands and waited until the crowd had dispersed, i would slink away.....with luck unnoticed.

What do I do, or what should YOU do??
I would clap my hands together and slowly pull them away from each other until the string breaks- right in front of everyone to marvel at my nastiness.
You however- I dunno, try the same thing. You might get a better response, more comical- just cuz yer a lady!
Other answers here are pretty solid- that's what I would do if I were in your position.

that's what a goober is?! I have been wondering forever what the hell that meant and i would just wipe it on somebody and act like I was trying to get past them

I'd nonchalantly put my hand in my pocket and wipe it off. Haha I've never heard them called goobers. Thats what my track coach calls me haha.

even before I read the first answer two things came to my mind
one pat the next person nearest to you on the back....
but I really thought of my first one was to put my hand in my own pocket and use the inside of my pocket to clean my hand off...why else do you think they first made pockets for?
