ok so to simplify things a LOT I'll speak in first person about this...

I have a group of friends that I've been close with for years....a lot of years. Good friends. Get it? Ok well I recently made a new friend that none of them know, and I am trying to fix that...because I think they would all really like her. But if I invited my new friend to a group thing it would be pretty awkward...So I invited her to a movie with another old friend. Well they didnt really talk because....it was a movie lol so what are some good activities that won't be awkward? I want us to all be friends! I was thinking maybe dinner but I'd hate for everyone just to be sitting there....in awkward silence..so I need something that we can talk but we dont really have to.

TO SIMPLIFY THINGS:

I am just looking for something two completely unrelated groups of people could do to become friends and get to know eachother a little better

Well this I think is easy, I would setup a BBQ, and a little get together. Maybe ask two of your old friends to come over with your new friend, play cards, bunko, have a fantasy party, Tupperware, etc. Then do this again with a couple other friends once again including the new friend. Then a week or two later all decide to go out and meet at a Pub or go bowling, or out to local hot spot attraction. It takes time to mold. Ask your new friend what she likes to do and get many options if you can. Maybe find out what astrological sign they are and match the friends this way. I feel it will take a bit of work; however, it should all fall into place make no plans for this to happen overnight, remember that Rome was not built in a day. Friendships take years to develop into strong bonds no need to rush...

Why? Why do all of your friends have to be friends with each other? I have many types of friends. Not all of them could even be in the same room with each other without going at each others's throats; and that's okay. They're my friends. Not each other's.
