There is this really cute hamster, but I also like gerbils. WHICH ONE!

I had a hamster once. And I also like gerbils so I want to try something new. But there's this really cute and soft one! And it's really tame. I like both!

if you dont know... then do some research for the best fit for you... "really cute" isnt a great reason to take on the responsibility

you should get a gerbil, because they are much cuter and you already know you like them. ("but I also like gerbils") well if you dont know that you like a hamster already then you might end up NOT liking it. Cute can get old fast. Stick with the gerbils which you know you will still like in two weeks.

Neither, they stink, they are boring and like to keep you up all night. But, if you got your eye on one then get that one before you don't find a gerbil you like and go back to get the hamster and its gone. It takes care, time, money, responsibility

I had a gerbil he was "really cute" he was BAAAD he chewed through all cages I tried to put him in. His last cage I kept coming home and chewed stuff would be in the kitchen in the living room my couch was getting chewed up! I would run to his cage knowing he was loose. Nope in there looking innocent. Found out he chewed the top latch that had a lid he would open it get out and get back in just in time. Smart little thing....or demon gerbil...whatever get a hamster. Their bigger and probably easier to catch.

They are both good pets. One advantage to gerbils is they are awake during the day and sleep at night. Hamsters are nocturnal and run in their wheels at night, that can get noisy!

Gerbils are very flighty and I would not recommend one. Hamsters bite and don't live very long. I would suggest a rat. Or a pair. I have 3 and they make wonderful pets, they don't bite and they love it when I make them pasta. Very sweet animals.

I would perfer to rear Dwarfs Hamsters as pets... It is so small and cute... And U need little care like comb it coats...
Some Syrian Hamster had long coat... U need really more time to care for them...
I had include some website for your reference... so U can decide which pet is suitable for U....

I would recommend you a hamster...mine is a female she is the sweeties thing ever!! her cage doesn't smell and they are so soft!! by the way she has a princess castle all pink...too cute!!

I would choose the gerbil, because they are smaller and when they bite it doesn't hurt as bad.

i would get a gerbil b/c it would be a lot nicer. You wouldnt get bitten as much. besides the bigger the better!
