Yes, we just don't admit to it so easliy. I think girls tend to have more romantic thoughts than guys though (e.g. guys are thinking about a hot and steamy 3sum with Angelina Jolie and Sarah Michelle Gellar, girl is thinking about being wined and dined by the love of her life and then made love to on a bed covered in rose petals and surrounded by candles and then getting married and having babies).

No. I saw a study, they aired on TV about this.
I don't remember the actual numbers(times in a day), but it was a staggering difference.
It was something like, the average male thinks about sex about 80 times a day. The women, around 10.
Something like that.
It was SURPRISING!
