I'm 23, going through a divorce, spit up with my wife back in late August 2005. I was so crushed, I thought I would never love again. I didn't treat women the same after that, just used them as objects, since that all my ex-wife turned out to be (freakin whore!). I was bitter towards women... that was untill I met the girl i'm with now. We met a little over 2 months ago, and I think i'm in love with this girl. She tells me she loves me, and knows of all my baggage. How do I know I'm really in love and not just in lust with her?

In my own personal experience, it really does take at least a year to get over the hurt caused by your ex. Since it's been that long almost for you, maybe it is love. I wouldn't do anything permanent for a while though like move in or especially get married. Enjoy dating her!

Your wife a whore...what about you? You just feel love. You need to be able to make it through thick and thin for love to last. Not everything is always going to be happy and jolly all the time. Life and love are not perfect.

She has disgusting feet, but you like her anyway. Imagine her fat and farting - do you still like her and want to spend time with her? There are other factors to deciding if you really love her or not, but that's a start.

Listen to your heart, its a good judge, dont try and think too much, you will know if its love in time, you need more time though.

just take it slow.i think you rushed in to your first marriage.just let it happened and it will.your young.you have time .you don't want to make another mistake.
