There are a couple of things that could be going on here. One is that you might have a thyroid problem, which could be easily diagnosed and treated with medication. Another is that you might be depressed. Pushing yourself too hard, not having time for yourself, and now not doing much of anything and have no work or study to occupy yourself with can start Depression. You might need a some counseling, or you might need a temporary course of antidepressants to get you out of your funk. Especially because you're a little scared of moving on with your life, I think this is probably it. Whatever the cause of your slowing down, you should see a doctor as soon as possible, so you can get the treatment you need.

Check with your doctor and if you confirm you do not have any medical condition, it is possibly you suffered loss of self esteem when you realized you couldn't do lots of work as you thought you could, and this perhaps caused you to loose self confidence and motivation. You could spike up your life again by first trying to tell your self that there is nothing wrong with me, and I can do it. You need to engage in some active walkouts, this can keep you active both mentally and physically and then reflect on your emotional agility and enthusiasm. You must deliberately tell yourself positive words, and believe them, and this time do not set unrealistic expectations for yourself. If you are looking for a job make sure you are seeking work in areas that interest you and that you have qualification for. You can consult a career counsellor or email me directly and I will ask you a few questions and then be able to provide you some advice.

I think you've already been told above that you should speak to a doctor and he'll get some tests done to see that everything in your body is functioning alright.

You may have done a bit too much and your body decided it's not having it anymore. It could also be a bit of depression..but these questions can all be answered by your doctor.

Look after yourself and I'm sure you'll feel better and more energised soon ....

Maybe you a little depressed (for whatever reason). Some people that get depressed don't realize it, or what triggered it, until it really hits them.

What did you used to do when you were upbeat? Try doing those things again. Reconnect with friends. Do things that YOU enjoy, and know when to take a break.

It doesn't hurt to see a therapist, if those things don't work. And it DOESN'T mean your crazy. But smart enough to overcome your situation.

to my knowledge and thing that my father always said is "fall in love"
what in other translation means that you need a date, it is medically proven that when we fall in love our adrenaline grows up and it pushes us to work, makes us happier and makes our body burn calories faster,

other thing is start listening to music that make you smile,
watch comedies, get your IPod and go for the walk, walking with music on fresh air makes us happier, also running makes us feel better,
to increase your level of happiness eat banana, one a day,
and you can also try drinking one glass of milk if you are stressed as milk lowers our level of stress...

i can also give you some quote which always helps me go forward

"The trouble with wanting something is the fear of losing it, or never getting it. The thought makes you weak."

or Buddhist one

"if it went wrong and you can't fix it, didnt worry cause you cant fix it, and if it went wrong and you can fix it dont worry cause you can fix it"

the point is just let it go, take life easy , dont stress,

i can recommend you here movies like

"American Beauty" and song by U2 - Numb (kinda relaxing), and Our Lady Peace - Are you sad, (this one always helps my friends)

but the most important thing is spend time with people, friends you like, as when we are alone we become worse and worse,

the best just date some guy, just for fun it not necessary has to be love

Go and have blood work done it may be your thyroid and if it's hypothyroid you need to stay on medication for the rest of your life.
