I really do not know the answer to that question.
And do you mean like 'black' people? Or does it include anyone of color who is not latin american? Can they be part black?
Does it really matter that we put these labels on people? Is there a functional reality that I am missing because I do not have an answer to that question?
I think the number of people I know and care about is a much better question. The answer to that question is: all of them.

Umm.. alot. My bf is black. Tons of my co-workers are black. Many of my friends are black. How many white people do you know?

I don't have an exact count, but an entire half of my daughter's family is black.

I would approximate with the family, friends, etc. probably five or six hundred. If we throw in acquaintances, probably thousands.
