You should send them a "Congratulations on Your Divorce" card and date it about 3 years into the future. Or just send it to her. Ask her what would be the use of this...because that day is sure to come if she marries him. I've heard so many broken relationship and marriage stories like this one. Don't be afraid to speak up. You're an outstanding, stellar friend. She is lucky to have you. Just be very loving to her as you give her the tough love and hard words. I'm behind you...I think it is worth the risk.

Maybe a slim maybe her feelings will change, when/if she realizes that there is nothing really great out there, and that if this guy professes his love to her constantly , she may come around. It may take the two of them breaking up for a while and dating each other before she realizes it. You probably need to go ahead and tell each one of them separately how the other feels, and tell them that it's only out of respect for the both of them to do so. It's a hard call, but it's worth the effort. Just be careful not to be to abrasive when you deliver the truth. Good luck.

How sad. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it shouldn't be taken lightly. Why waste your life with someone you don't love and why waste your life wishing someone would love you the way you want them to? If they marry, they are making a huge mistake....best of luck to you in trying to make them see that.

I don't understand why she would marry him if she didn't love him. She obviously sounds like a control freak and wants to get something out of him. He needs to open up his eyes. She is obviously using him for something and no matter what, in the relationship he is the one who is going to get hurt the most.

hmm ... first of all, its their decision and none of ur business but if they come to you for advice let them know exactly what you feel about it .. leave the rest to them .. its their life ... they'll have to face the concequences(if any) .. and who knows, they might just end up being madly in love AFTER they get married ... try not to get too involved in this...

Hell no I wouldn't marry someone I didn't love. I try to stay away from problems instead of deliberately walking into them.

Is he rich??? good grief,,,your friend is brave and naive. Their marriage will not last long, no need to try to talk them out of it.
