Is it true that only gays drink Dr Pepper?

Well, considering that the original Dr. Charles T Pepper had a daughter (who the company's co-founder was supposedly close to), Doc himself was probably firmly in the "straight" column.
And considering I'm having one right now, I can safely say your second question can be answered "no".

The drink was named after a real Dr. Pepper who lived near the inventor. Evidently the inventor was interested in the doctor's daughter. Most people who are married and have children are straight.
The name was also chosen for its similarity to "pep," or vigor.
You are making a gross generalization. I doubt there is any drink that "only gay people" drink. And if that were true, would that be a bad thing? Why are you so bigoted? WWJD?
