Not if you are off on Friday ....
The "hump" is the middle of the week. Once you get over the hump, it is all downhill untill the weekend.

Yes, Wednesday is traditionally 'Hump Day' coming from "You are almost over the Hump" when working a tradional work week of Monday through Friday. As you know, many people don't work this schedule...so any day that represents their half-way mark would be their Hump Day.

Traditionally, yes, it's considered "hump day". It got that name 'cos it's in the middle of the work week; Monday being the beginning. Aptly named 'cos after Wednesday, it's all downhill from there; thus, "Hump Day"!

Oh yes, especially if I`m off work on weekends, getting over the hump (Wednesday) means the week is almost over, payday is close at hand too.
