I take it this is your first baby? If so our bodies don't know really what to feel for so to speak. In the first pregnancy it is not unusual to feel your baby move later and less frequently. Soon enough your baby will moving enough to keep you awake trust me. If you are worried call your OB/GYN's office and the Dr on call will let you know if there is any reason for the worry.

You also need to know that worrying is also normal during your pregnancy don't feel uncomfortable to ask your OB/GYN ANY questions you my have no matter how silly you my think they are. They have heard everything and won't laugh at you. Better to ask than worry. Good luck.

Movements can't really be timed until about 27 or 28 weeks. So long as your baby moves somewhat in the day you should be good. If you don't feel the baby all day, lay down with some orange juice or a small amount of caffinated soda and concentrate on trying to feel your baby move. If there's no movement after an hour or two, call your doctor.

I used to worry about that alot with my first pregnancy. Just as long as you feel your baby some throughout the day. Just keep track of the movements and tell your doctor. Its better to get checked out just in case. But some days those babies are more active than others. Just try not to worry! Congrats!

Can you be more specific when you say "hardly have your baby move"? This is just the beginning of the movement stage. What exactly are you feeling?

I know some girl just had a baby at wallmart and didn't even know she was pregnant, she had no signs. Your doctor will know best.
