If you had 1million dollars , how would you spend it to help the community?

I mean this is just a question but most people would spend it on them.But how would you make a difference with the money?

I would help and feed an American child ... they are going to bed every night with out food clod and Hungary ... we all can help give what you can .. and make sure it gets to the children... billions are being wasted all the time,in the name of help these children in these third world country's are only seeing about 3 cents per dollar .... the rest is going to crooks,war lords etc ... to fund their wars ... it takes Lott's of money to fight wars yet these war lords of these country's seem to come up with it ... Warren Buffet should be ashamed to look another American in their face .. He just gave 90 billion dollars away to causes that are infested with crooks... He may save 2000 or 3000 people but his money will kill millions ...I mean that money would have eliminated poverty as we know it in the United States..
Each year we give for example to Africa.. feed the Hungary etc.. As soon as the people get a few pounds on them, what do they do? Turn around and go right back to the dessert .... the next year they do the same thing.. Its a catch 22 .. The war lord get their weapons the people get a few grans of rice...and the beat gos on

If I had 1million dollars, I would spend about 400 or less on the stuff I want which is CDs & DVDs. I would use some on acting, dancing & singing lessons. Then when I got my big break I would earn way more than 1million & I would give 75% of it to the charities I wanna work with. If I ever won like 100million on one day I would keep a thousand for food and to give to my family. I would donate the rest 99milliom to an animal charity or to a charity in Africa. I would be famous & have a lot of money I didn't need. So I'd open up a bank account and start putting my money in there. I wanna keep being the generous person I am. I wanna make a change in the world. Make it better while we still live here. Make it fair for all. Even the poor Africans that their bones show because they don't have anything at all to eat. All this stuff I wrote pretty much came from my heart. I've thought about this question before. I said exactly what I wanna do.

Assuming I would not spend the money on myself...

To get maximum value I would not take on multiple causes. I would use the full amount on one cause.

I would become involved with a local organization that provides GED, trade school, and associates level educational programs to the poor.

I love this program because it empowers people to take charge of their lives. The results are dramatic and wonderful.

If I had 1 million dollars, I would use most of it to turn my hometown from a dump to a suburb and remodel my high school. With $20,000 left over, I'd use it for buying myself a Honda Civic Hybrid as well as a few other things for my personal use.

I would buy myself a big house and a luxury car and then I would surround myself with beautiful 21 year old blonde women. This would make everybody in the community happy to see that I am doing so well. It would give them goals to work toward and help them to see how good they could have it. I think people would appreciate that. Yeah, it's fun to help people feel good about themselves.

I think I would start by setting up scholarships for students . If there were a need a community shelter for the homeless and needy . Of course that would take more then one million , but it would a start .

I would create a foundation that would take the money and invest it, then the foundation should take the return and put it into scholarships for local kids and into comunity projects they deem worthy. This way the fund could contiune forever and the money wouldn't run out after one year.

Well I am from Mexico so different situations but still, I think I would help to public hospitals because they get the worst cases and doctors get the worst checks and sometimes people just want to leave without paying
