Make two slices in the bark of a 3 foot twig.
Wrap dirt and then moss around it with a plastic bag and secure it. Of course it has to have water and a little root stimulator would not hurt. Give it a month and check it.. Cut it off when you get a root ball and plant in moist, good soil.

YOU CAN'T DO IT TO ALL TREES..........BUT WITH THE ONE YOU;RE TRYING TO DO YOU CUT THE BRANCH ON AN ANGLE....YOU CAN DIP THE CUT PIECE THAT YOU WANT TO TRY TO GROW INTO ROOT STARTER AND THAN INTO MOIST SAND....IN A FEW WEEKS IT IT HAS ROOTS STARTED YOU CAN THEN TRANSPLANT INTO A BIGGER CONTAINER WITH POTTING SOIL....IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE ROOT STARTER YOU CAN TRY JUST STICKING IT THE PLANT SOIL...OR YOU CAN TRY TO START ROOTS ON IT BY JUST PLACING IT IN A GLASS OF WATER...BUT I'M NOT SURE YOU ARE GOING TO GET ANYTHING TO START....BUT GOOD LUCK......
