Hockey.
It's fast, it's hard hitting and it's got boxing right in it. There is nothing cooler than seeing some guy skating down the wing at full speed then getting upended with a massive hipcheck. Or when a goalie makes an incredible save, it just sends the crowd into a frenzy. Fights... yeah, hockey has lots of great fights. The best is when goalies fight...
Anyhoo, I like pretty much any sport, but hockey is the most interesting to watch.

Martial Arts --
Though often seen as an individual sport, it is more than that (I practice Hapkido, Kempo, and Kung Fu).
Classes are often intense and require complete attention to learn, practice movements, and spar. Because of the intensity, it allows me to forget about other issues (work, home, weather, etc) for a short amount of time.
In addition, I get the opportunity to stregthen my body through numerous excercises that will, down the road, allow me to be healthy when most people begin to complain about joints etc.
Mentally it is a very challenging sport as it requires a person to focus on their movements (like a baby learning how to walk and step one foot forward, keep balance, put foot down). Learning to do combination punches and defenses and then learning it backwards requires a lot of practice. When sparring, you are attempting to think three moves or more ahead of your opponent -- make your opponent commit to an attack while you counter and counter his counter followed by a strike (much like chess).
And, though often not thought of as a "team" sport, you do find yourself very much supporting others in your school during tournaments and helping teach classes as you move up.
SO: excercise, focus, team effort, and challenging.

My favorite sport to play is definately basketball. I have been playing since I was little. It is fun to just go to a gym and shoot and not worry about anything else.
My favorite sport to watch is definately american football. I love the action and intensity that comes along with watching it. Just the way they play their hardest and come to play every sunday. It is by far the best sport to watch.

Bullriding. It is the most exciting, and the most fun to watch. And no bullriders are going to hang back for more money, very few bullriders use dangerous drugs, get arrested for fighting, beating their wives, or gangbanging. Also they dress more decently, and don't use filthy language on TV.

Its really between Soccer and Basketball for me, I love being able to do tricks while dribbling in basketball and soccer, and I ESPECIALLY love juggling (bounce ball on my foot) in soccer.
I think the answer you are looking for is Baseball, but thats not me

Football. 17 weeks of hard knocking football, and the playoffs... it's just a great sport.

American football, because the players actually deserve their huge salaries (as opposed to baseball)
