It can be either way. Normally the engagement ring has the largest diamond. The wedding band can be plan, my mom's had diamonds (small ones) across it.

The engagement ring is suppose to have some type of diamond in it if your not cheap and the wedding ring is suppose to top the engagement ring. That's where you put the real nice diamond, because the wedding ring is something your soulmate will wear everyday in public for everyone to see. The engagement ring works the same though too.

Do not listen to the above answer. You are right about the engagement ring. The wedding ring is simply a wedding band. Usually real gold or silver.

These days its pretty common to have diamonds in the wedding band also. My husband bought me a diamond enhancer and it's clustered with diamonds and has two emarld cut diamonds on both sides of my engagement ring.
As far as men's bands...
Depends...my husband's is fully diamond. My brother in laws is just a simple band because he works around a printing press. My dad's is the same because he works around heavy machinery.
For the woman - get her what she wants. She'll be wearing it forever. It's a constant symbol of your love...when she looks at it that is what you want her to remember. Not, the argument that ensued ...

if you want them to be there are. It don't matter a wedding band reflects you and you only. if you want a plain band, get one but usually the diamonds aren't really big and bulky like an engagement ring.

it depends if u have the money or not. I see alot of men with wedding bands with like 7 little diamonds going across the center of the wedding band. But it all depends if you have the money. No matter what he will be grateful.

Both. Diamonds represent "forever" and that starts with the engagement ring and ends up with the wedding ring too.
It makes sense, doesn't it?

Depends on the taste of the wearer, doesn't it? Also might depend on the finances of the giver. There are no set rule, and no one says you have to wear a ring in the first place. If you need a ring to remind yourself that you are married, something is seriously wrong somewhere. Good luck
