I love Sarah Dessen and I am just curious to hear other fans thoughts about their favorite book by her.

I love The Truth about Forever. I'm not sure exactly why this book is my favorite, it could be because it was the first Dessen book that I ever read...and it led me to all of her other books. For some reason, I just really fell in love with the language of The Truth about Forever...just the way she phrased things was really memorable to me....so profound, so true. I also love the development of the characters, how she begins to make new friends, and how she really lets things develop slowly with the love interest. They actually become friends--close friends--before they start a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.
