Albert Pujols is not a baby for missing the homerun derby. Health comes first. I'm with him all the way.

No way! He played in the game which actually counts for something. Besides the derby is 2/3 of the reason that Edmonds has been off at the plate last two or three years the last time he was in it he says it messed up his swing.
Leave Pujols alone and pick on Manny or some of the guys that didn't even show up.

I think it was smart. His job is to help the Cardinals win, not to win some gaudy trophy for himself. Besides, that Home Run Derby has a way of messing up a player's swing. Poor Bobby Abreau still hasn't recovered from last year. Keep an eye on David Wright and Ryan Howard in the second half. I bet they will each hit less home runs.

Pujols isn't a baby for missing the home run derby. Just because he can hit home runs doesn't mean he has to be in a home run derby. Anyways he didn't do it because he was wanting to be rested up for the all star game.

probably, but the real baby is manny ramirez! that pansy cant play 4 innings in the all star game but he can play 19 in one game on that "bad knee", and i hate his hair! I like albert puljols but it wouldve been more exciting seeing him in the homerun derby rather than lance berkman

No Way, He was injured already once recently. Not worth the risk again.

I am sure "It was in the Cards." for him not play.
