I just think it's a huge adrenaline rush. I like the type of horror movies that have twist-- you know, the type that mess with your mind, like the movies Saw and Hostel.

It's just exciting to watch no matter how scary they are and it's especially fun when you have somebody to cuddle with. The best part about horror movies is when the person that was the biggest a*&hole gets caught.

I enjoy the suspense and sitting on the edge of my seat. They're attention keepers! The last two scary movies I've seen that "got me good" without seeing it coming was ' The Sixth Sense' and the movie ( oh.......I forgot it's name!!!!!) the one where the mother and her children were dead and she didn't realize it and they were living in there home still, with the new owners! That was a freaky movie with a suprise ending!!!

I don't like film genres; I like great films. I watch horror films which are artistic, thought-provoking, employ incredible cinematography (expressive shadows and lighting, creative and inventive camera angles and techniques, etc.) and perhaps have had an incredible historical impact on cinema.

They dont scare me. I havent found one movie that has actually scared me.
I watch them for a thrill. They are usually full of action.
I also like to make fun of the main characters.

The way the girl always goes back into the house - or someone goes back after a friend. Just the release of screaming and knowing you would NEVER be that stupid. It's a rush!

Maybe we choose to see what scares us so that it won't scare us anymore. I know that some scary movies after seeing it enough desensitize one until it isn't scary anymore.
