becuase if they didn't put it on there some idiot would start screaming that the owner of the bank was discriminating against the blind and would haul them into court. and 10 to 1 odds the person screaming has never even met a blind person in his life...
or maybe it's there for that one blind guy who likes to take risk and get behind the wheel every now and then...........

Well there are ppl that aren't as lucky as you. They are blind and the only way they can read is BRAILE or maybe they just put it there to make it look fancy.

In case a blind person is riding "shotgun" in a car and needs money. The driver can stop from a distance and allow the vision impaired person to walk up to the machine and withdrawal funds.

It's a one-size fits all ATM. They don't make different ones for a drive up, versus a walk up, ATM.

Not all blind people are 100% blind, most just have a degree of lost vision but use Braille to help them read better.
