If a person blames a god, then that person is NOT an atheist, no matter what he or she calls him/herself.

What you are REALLY saying, and you are posing it in a question form so you can meet the Yahoo Answers guidelines, is that you believe ALL people really believe in your god and the proof is in the fact that even those who claim NOT TO believe still blame god for bad things. But that's circular logic, based on the assumption that ALL atheists actually DO blame some deity when their life is in turmoil. I can tell you FOR A FACT that "all" atheists do NOT blame your god or any god, because *I* do NOT blame your god or any god, since that would be silly when I do NOT believe in your god or any other god. Since one person does NOT blame your or any other god, then your supposed logic is flawed and your question becomes MOOT.

As an atheist, if something bad happens, I automatically assume it's karma. Or a learning experience...which would make it a good thing (in the long run)...
I don't know who you've been talking or listening to, but there are quite a few who know the whole concept to be a myth based on reading, philosophy, etc. Disbelief is not solely based on anger and the need to blame someone.

I don't do that, but I suppose some atheists do. It's very human to look around for someone to blame when things go wrong, and gods are easy targets because they can't defend themselves (or apparantly choose not to - whichever you prefer). In much the same way that strong Christians don't turn their backs on the bible when things aren't going right, strong atheists don't default to theism when the chips are down.

Because, just like God, there is no such thing as " antheists "

Just in case you are too stupid to spell "atheist", we don't. I might use god damn it but only as a swear.

One of my closest friends is an atheist & I have never heard her blame God only herself when things go wrong. The ones that do I would imagine do it out of habit like swearing.

when something happens to an atheist, they do not blame God. when something happens to a fair-weather Christian, they blame God and say they are a neo-Atheist. Atheists do not believe in God.

I'm not sure? maybe it really is his fault? If he exists and he is all-powerful, if he WANTED the bad thing to not happen it wouldn't happen right? so god must at least be able to stop these things from happening but just sits back and watches them happen without acting to stop it. what would you call a person who is able to stop child molestation but just watches and says "hey, that guy has free will , not my problem"

Nope. I generally blame karma. And the idiosyncracies of the universe. Sometimes things go wrong, and no one knows why. That's just how it goes.

By the definition of athiesm, they fundamentally reject or do not believe in God, in any form...so no, they do not blame God.

Agnostics on the other hand...
