this is a copy/paste from an answer of me to another questions , but it is realated to the istablishment of isreal and to your questions .

but before i paste it i would like to comment about the legally istablishment of isreal showen by an answerer of your qusetion , he talked about ottoman empire ( The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, ...etc.)
just use your mind please :

1- if that was true , so from where the palastians came ? the outer space , maybe

2- the palastinians refugees now , only the refugees are 5 million one , and when isreal was istablished the jews were 30% of the land they took ,not all of palastine where they were 0 persentage , by God sake can you call that : (with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian)

3- why do you think all arab countries entered war against israel ? would it be a logic answer or an accepted one to call a war declared by 9 countries , that its reasons are : ( Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews) , pal, it was a war between countries ,not a fight in a dirty pup

4- isreal won over five arab countries , no they were 5 main countries and 4 subsidary countries , but all the 9 were not modern countries , another thing , no body sent all of it's army , the army of all of those countries was less than the israili one , and israel was supported heavily by britain at this time

so please dont believe in such fictional stories about that .

Look , man : here is a part of an article from the united nations web site (not an israili one as the others) it shows how it was a conispiracy to keep palastine from declaring independency in order to to istablish israel instead of it :

"The Palestine problem became an international issue towards the end of the First World War with the disintegration of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Palestine was among the several former Ottoman Arab territories which were placed under the administration of Great Britain under the Mandates System adopted by the League of Nations pursuant to the League's Covenant (Article 22) .

All but one of these Mandated Territories became fully independent States, as anticipated. The exception was Palestine where, instead of being limited to "the rendering of administrative assistance and advice" the Mandate had as a primary objective the implementation of the "Balfour Declaration" issued by the British Government in 1917, expressing support for "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people".

During the years of the Palestine Mandate, from 1922 to 1947, large-scale Jewish immigration from abroad, mainly from Eastern Europe took place, the numbers swelling in the 1930s with the notorious Nazi persecution of Jewish populations. Palestinian demands for independence and resistance to Jewish immigration led to a rebellion in 1937, followed by continuing terrorism and violence from both sides during and immediately after World War II. Great Britain tried to implement various formulas to bring independence to a land ravaged by violence. In 1947, Great Britain in frustration turned the problem over to the United Nations. "

and this one showes how israel continue stealing the arab lands, read that :

"After looking at various alternatives, the UN proposed the partitioning of Palestine into two independent States, one Palestinian Arab and the other Jewish, with Jerusalem internationalized (Resolution 181 (II) of 1947). One of the two States envisaged in the partition plan proclaimed its independence as Israel and in the 1948 war expanded to occupy 77 per cent of the territory of Palestine. Israel also occupied the larger part of Jerusalem. Over half the indigenous Palestinian population fled or were expelled. Jordan and Egypt occupied the other parts of the territory assigned by the partition resolution to the Palestinian Arab State which did not come into being.

In the 1967 war, Israel occupied the remaining territory of Palestine, until then under Jordanian and Egyptian control (the West Bank and Gaza Strip). This included the remaining part of Jerusalem, which was subsequently annexed by Israel. The war brought about a second exodus of Palestinians, estimated at half a million. Security Council resolution 242 (1967) of 22 November 1967 called on Israel to withdraw from territories it had occupied in the 1967 conflict.

In 1974, the General Assembly reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, national independence and sovereignty, and to return. The following year, the General Assembly established the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. The General Assembly conferred on the PLO the status of observer in the Assembly and in other international conferences held under United Nations auspices."

now here is my copy/paste answer , i hope it helps :

i'm very astonished from some answers here .... what innocent israili people facing terrorism ? who are the trorrist ? the owner of the house or the introder ? what anti - seminest ? first of all , arabs are seminests . second when israil occupy the palastinian lands , make a proplem of 2 million palastinian refugee who are still refugees till now , so who is the terrorist ? tell me ?

don't you ever compare the istablishment of israel with the istablishment of america , because : when america was istablished, there was no international law that prevents countries from either war or occuping other countries , BUT , when israel istablished at 1948 , it was after the istablishment of the united nations , which charter approved by all civilized nations in the whole planet , and it was approved that war is prohipited , billigerant occupation of any territory is refused and forbidden , no matter how the invading forces call it ... so the istablishment of israel was illigal , the way it was istablished by was by terrorising arab palastinians poor villigers to either sell or run away from their lands untill the zionists got a land big enough to istablish a country

after istablishment (illigal) they got more palastinian lands by war in 1948 , 1956 wars

then at 1967 war , israel occupied jerosalem for the first time (illigaly too) and took new lands from its neighbours this time ( Egypt , Syria , Lebanon and Jordan) and as they used to they started to build there settlments and get their civilians to settle down at those new lands ( it was proved illigal by the security councel resolutions no 424 , 338 ) ( even USA the only blind supporter to israel couldent veto those resolutions because the situation was opvious )

until now they are occupying the golan hights (about thierd syria , and they were pulled back from south lebanon by the continuos strikes by Hizbullah ( the terrorist as THEY call him and anyone stand for them ) )

innocent? arent the arab soles are innocent too ? when killing is happened by air raid it's ok , heroic , but when the one who have no weapons to defend himself , sacrifise his own life , and kill himself in the enemy it considered a terrorism , am i right ?

end the copy/paste answer , and i hope it helps , and if you realy want the truth , search for the answers in the real places , not israeli web sites .

i apologize for my english , i'm not a native english speaker

Sorry, pro Israel here.

The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian. The Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to "Palestine" by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In 1947, under pressure, the British resigned their mandate. The same year, the United Nations mandated partioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. Israel won. That and that alone is the source of the Palastinian "refugees". Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of "Palestine" for the last 58 years. The might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement and development as Israel. 50% of Israel's population now includes refugees from Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Yemen. All were accepted by Israel with open arms and have become successful members of their society. The Palestinians refused to integrate these refugees into their population and instead confined them to "refugee camps". The ones there are now fourth generation and through no fault of Israel.

Your serious? U want ANTI-ISRAEL information? Why don't you contact the Pres of Iran - he'll give you all the propaganda that u need. Israel's history is long and complicated, but they are not, sadly to say, the "innocent" party most in the US would claim them to be - they did violate UN Resolution 242 and have yet to submit to it's terms. The 6-day war is also something you should look up and educate yourself about - both the Israeli and Jordanian, Syrian, Iraqi and other Arab nations version of what happened. Good luck, I think.

If you genuinely "want to know more about the place", why would you ask only for a negative and narrow perspective of Israel? That is simply stupid and illogical.
So what are you really asking for? Because it sounds to me like an entirely biased, ignorant and even racist request. I would like to know.
