There are no good answers, except the good old boy democrats who own all the tobacco companies and the power lobbies that are paid to lobby our elected officials.

Tax revenue and farmer dependency. Both weed, and tobacco are bad.

People have died from pot. Don't fool yourself into thinking it's safe. Auto accidents and specific throat cancers are the leading causes of death associated with the wacky-tobacky.

(I know that there was a study that said there was no link between pot and lung cancer, but it doesn't mention an earlier study that involved the inhaled smoke and larynx neoplasms.)

Tobacco is legal because it is heavily taxed. Outlaw tobacco and local and federal governments are out a lot of money. Plus it is a big business that keeps a lot of people employed. We do many things that aren't good for us, you can't ban them all. If people want to use tobacco, it is their choice. Let's keep the safetycrats out of it .

Most competent researchers say that smoking one joint is = to 10 cigarettes. Most people that "toke" also smoke cigarettes. Do the research yourself or ask your lungs! I quit smoking cigarettes 17 years ago and then toked a joint......almost choked to death! Do the math my man! Lungs do not like smoke! Any smoke and only one set of lungs per person. Take care of them!
