Parents' divorce had the most significant impact. It impacted the relationships that I formed starting with my mom and dad thru friends/coworkers/boss to my husband/children.

The 2nd most significant but also necessary for this discussion is the death of my dad (he was only 52). It wasn't until he past that I could see the first. I don't know why the blinders came off, but they did. Things were rough at first because there was lot of BS to get thru before anything authentic could come about.

Now I just wish that people could have been a lot more true to me, but everyone has their problems and illusions. And all is forgiven.

When I dunked the ball for the first time. I knew I was going to make the pros.

Then I broke my leg the next time I tried to dunk, and I had to have it amputated. My life has been a disaster ever since. That is why I hate the NBA so much.

still here.

I became an electrician.

My sister put my hair up on top of my head in a fancy doo when I was in first grade. My first grade teacher told me I shouldn't wear my hair up because my ears stick out. I thought I was beautiful but have NEVER worn hair up since and always have hair cut to cover my ears. (In reality I don't think they really do stick out but the little first grader inside of me does)

(Maybe some time i'll tell you.....but i can't do it here, i'm sorry.)
