Women wear makeup to even out their skin tones, cover blemishes, and add color to their face. There are many makeup products on the market now that don't wear off easily. Why do men put on hair gel or deodorant or cologne? Because they like it, it makes them feel better, and it makes them look better. The same is true for women.

We like to put makeup on because it makes us feel prettier. I hate it when i have no make up and i go to a friends house or something i feel like im not that pretty even though everyone i know says i am pretty. Its a girl thing.

You ARE correct, in saying that it "only wears off", but speaking for myself, I just think I look better in make up.
I've been told my eyes are my best facial feature and by wearing eye liner/mascara, only enhances it.
I feel good about myself when I wear make up.
But, on the other hand, all my friends have seen me w/o make up AND my b/f.
So obviously, I don't wear it all the time! LOL

Because many girls are insecure about the way they look. They feel that if they cover up any imperfections on they face and add eye shadow and eyeliner and stuff like that that it will make them sexier and more appealing

Not all girls like to put make up on. Some of them do because they feel like they have to, and some don't wear make up at all. Some girls like to wear make up because it makes them feel prettier, and they feel better about themselves, more confident. A lot of women wear make up because they think guys like it.

because if u are talking about ur gf or something there makeup wont always melt of or ware off they make makeup that stays on plus she wants to look at her best for u all the time she wants to look presentable

it's fun to experiment with, it gives us confidence, and it makes us feel pretty.
Yeah, it wears off, sure. That's why we go to the bathroom for so long--to reapply it.
And gossip, and talk on the phone. but you know, that's besides the point.

I don't, and I don't get why they where make up either the most that i've woren is lip gloss and thats all I'll be wearing
