I'm just wondering if this is a REAL job or if this is another scam of some kind, to get money from people in search of a job. My newspaper has a listing for Secret Shoppers & an 800#. I dont want to get stuck on the phone w/someone who will end up trying to sell me something or get money out of me, so I wanted to see if anyone on here had experienced this for themselves before I call about it. Thanx!

I did it for a while. Got few assignments but had some fun while doing it. Nice way to pass the time, but not a job in the real sense. If they ask for money up front, they're NOT legit! Just hang up!
Ignore the scams posted above, by the way. Talk about pop-up city!

I receive samples and log them at a laboratory. If no samples are available in, I actual don't have from now on some thing to do till it truly is time to run analysis on the samples that are for me. I do microbiological analysis on water samples. I run checks two times in step with day. once round midday, and the different at about 4 PM. maximum circumstances it takes lower than 0.5-hour to ascertain the samples coming in, and skim the samples that were set the day before. some days are loopy, and others are sluggish. it is been sluggish at the moment, so i'm racking up factors answering questions right here.

Haven't done this myself but have a friend who does. She did a lot of research and is affiliated with a national organization. She didn't answer an ad from the newspaper; I'd watch out for that. Check out the MSPA site: http://www.mysteryshop.org/ethics/ or similar sites. There's also a book, "Mystery Shopping Made Simple", that you can find on Amazon.com.

don't waste your time or money. been there and done that. I was told to go to long horn restaurant and eat there. use my thirty five dollars to eat there for two people. then I had to wait six weeks to get my money back. I had joined a list first and paid money to join a lot of mystery shopping jobs, then I find out there where many free lists that had the same places and the ones that I paid money for. I was real mad. they don't pay you, you land up using your own money. it is a spam.
