What does it mean when they find cancerous cells in a pap when pregnant?

It could mean different things. I had cancerous cells in my pap, and I did not have cancer. I was given a cream to use and when they redid the pap the cells were gone. You really need to discuss this with you OB.

I just went through this last year when I was pregnant with my son. They have to do what you call a copalscapy. They have to examine your cervix and check it for cervical cancer. They say it's the most treatable kind out there and there is nothing to worry about. I went through it and I'm fine today. As a matter of fact, I have like 7 friends that have had the same thing. They all recovered just fine.

This happenned to me. Dont worry- dont freak out- its very easy to fix! What the doctor will do is like freeze the cancerous cells and cut them- u will NOT fee it and then the new cancer free cells are free to grow! Its all very simple and very quickly taken care of at your doctors office! It sounds alot worse thsn it is I know! I freaked when he told me that! Good luck
