Oral thrush is a yeast infection in your mouth. An oral anti-yeast medication like Diflucan might help.

My doc prescribes Nystatin, which is an anti-fungal drug. (Thrush is basically a yeast infection in your mouth.) It doesn't taste great, but it works. Also, if you have thrush, avoid yeasty foods, especially bread and beer. If you get thrush on a regular basis, it may be a sign of a compromised immune system, so let your doctor know.
Good luck.

at one time gentian violet was used to treat 'thrush'. visit a physician for treatment. proper oral hygiene is important! in regards to infants - breastfeeding mothers need to treat their nipples, and bottle nipples need to be sanitized thoroughly!
