so, im stuck in a house, deperatley looking for something or someone, and i just know that any minute ill be killed...... so im running down the halls...somtimes normal....sometimes red and black..... and panicing because i cant find what im looking for.... and finally it comes crashing down...and there she/it is...and i reach to grab her/it.........and im shot, or i wake up...
what do you think it means?

I've had a similiar dream to the one you described, where I was being shot in my own house, in front of my parents, and initially, it scared the crap out of me. I did a little research on dream interpretation and found some answers that put my conscience at ease.
For some reason, a gun isn't necessarily something you should fear in a dream. Seeing a gun and/or being shot is a subconscious manifestation of ambition. Just think of the phrase, "Shoot for the stars" and you'll understand what I'm saying. Now it sounds to me like you desire or need something/someone and your ambition is getting in the way. You've got to ask yourself how your ambition has affected your daily life experiences. The rest of the interpretation, whether this is positive or negative, is for you to decide.

I think its a disturbing dream (i prefer dreams that are simple and make sense actually). Dreams are a reflection of what's going on in our lives. Is there something in your life that you are running away from or not confronting? It may be a sign for you to be careful of a decesion or action you are going to make soon (cause you are running and get shot). I'm not a dream expert or anything, and I can't think of any sites to direct you too, but I hope this helps.

I've had similar dreams--where you are being pursued and under imminent threat of being killed, whether or not you know why or what is happening. In my experience, those dreams are "anxiety dreams" and they are usually the result of you avoiding dealing with something that is on your mind. The best way to sleep better at night is to face your demons during the day.

Let me analyze this dream for you.
House = safety zone
being shot = danger zone
You are seeking for things or someone and you know you will be killed. That means you have guilt conscious. You are trying to seek for protection. And you are in lack of great sense of security because in your dream, you keep telling yourself you will be killed.

I've been told that dreams where you are searching for something mean you probably need to go to the bathroom. I don't believe it, but hey... it's a theory...

it means that you are in need of a change. and before you could do that, you need to find resolution or a closure with yourself or someone. do not run away from issues that you need to resolve. get it on in order fo you to experience change.
