What is the best way to discuss this with a guy without him feeling like he is being cut off at the knees. It has been going on as long as we have been dating and we have not discussed. I think it is stress related (not related to our relationship), but it could be a health issue - How do you bring up that the member is not operating properly?

I was in that same position....for months sex wasn't as good.... you know the feeling I'm sure he would be hard at 1st then he would lose his erection in the middle of the deed...It happened to us many times but neither of us talked about it , we would just try to keep having sex but it wasn't as joyful..I asked him very nicely if he ever thought about seeing a urologist just to get a check up and make sure his health was good. There is really no other way to put it but you have to be straight forward about the situation. Some say sex is really not a big part of a relationship, but it really is and so is communication. The two of you need to talk about the problem and discuss his options not only with you but a doc. Be nice about it because it is a very sensitive subject for a man. Good Luck Hun

Trust me, he knows.
Yes, it is a delicate issue.
If it is important to you, then you need to just bring it up. Sometime when the two of you are relaxing together, tell him that you notice he has difficulty getting/maintaining an erection, and does it bother him. If you have a good relationship, then he should be willing to discuss it some.
Encourage him to see a doctor, but as far as anything else, that is up to him. After the initial discussion, try to make it a non-issue ... unless it really bothers you, in which case, you will have to decide what is most im portant to you in a relationship.
