It was offically ended a few years ago. Schulz has died since then. He died like shortly after it ended. Some papers still run it and others retired the strip. 50 years worth of comics so some just started at the start basically. I still get it in my local paper.

when charles schultz learned he was dying, he decided
not to allow anyone else to carry on the strips in his
name. since his death all the strips have been reruns.
