No, some people feel that the church uses scare tactics to get people to attend.
"If you don't come to church, you'll burn in hell for eternity."
At my church, they like to encourage people to come through love and forgiveness.

I'm not sure. Maybe he thinks most people who go to church (if they weren't raised going to church every Sunday) do it after something really tragic happens to them or they commit a sin, because they don't tihnk they have anywhere to go and so they turn to God.

i think he is saying that go to church if ur scared.. not the streets.
