I sleep in the basement, but I have a hard time sleeping because lights from cars going by all night shine through the windows into my eyes.
I would rather avoid buying drapes or curtains, which take a lot of time and money to install.
Instead, does anyone know any product that covers windows that you can just put on them, like some kind of adhesive substance?

Contact paper would work...can be had in many colors and patterns.(even wood grain..everybody loves wooden windows)...people use it for all kinds of things..And it was designed to cut easily....Originally used to line shelves..sort of a vinyl
(It's self adhesive and would peel off glass no problamo!

Black spray paint would work....

If you want to remove what you apply get a hold artist's mounting spray adhesive...I will hold plastic, paper, etc, but what ever you put on can be peeled off....for a more permanent hold use spray adhesive....

You can get Krylon opaquing spray (will not block all light) will cut it down and no one can see in....

Self stick cork...turn your windows in cork boards..pin up note of all the things you got to do! (cork insulates too)

Spray metallic paint that holds magnets....put up millions of refrigerator magnets.... and the Government will not be able to read you mind with secret rays......metal in paint blocks the rays!

Black light posters or great!

Paint them black and put on glow in the dark stars and galaxies.

The mind boggles at all the possibilities!
Save the tin foil for your head to block any goverment rays that sneek through...the NSA is watchibg everybody now!!!!

Tin foil!

The shiny side facing out. And 1inch squares of duct tape folded onto itself so it sticks to the foil and the window.
