if so... is the material upside down on one side and is there a serial number inside?

Some authentic styles will have the material upside down on one side. The reason for this is that Louis Vuitton uses one continuous piece of leather that wraps around from the front to back, without a seam on the bottom- and so, the backside has upside down logos. But this is not true for *all* authentic bags.

I am not sure what you mean by the serial number inside. Is it printed on or embossed into part of the leather?

Why are you so hung up on this thing?
Obviously you are not as wealthy as you are trying to put on that you are. Sounds like you are trying to im press people and make them think you are when you aren't.
