With resonsibility comes accountability: our government is an extention of it's people- others, me, and you...

In essence, if our government's actions are offensive, then our actions are offensive. We are one and the same.

Some of us are "called" and others "chosen"... Many more are asleep- those who must "overcome". Still, we are one and the same.

Being awake as you are is good but lonely. However, you are not alone. We are one but not alone. With these intimate reminders: the Patience of Saints and like snakes hidden in the grass :can we be most helpful to one another as a whole- until more wake up to hold themselves accountable.

Change starts with each individual...like droplets of water that can not help but cling to one another...such are the oceans which in turn are all interconnected.

Maybe every president should have to take a psychological test and a course in negotiation and diplomacy before they're allowed to run a country and drop bombs on innocent people. If our people have to die because we go to war, it ought to be for a damned good reason.

Maybe the glow-in-the-dark cockroaches that survive the nuclear holocaust will do a better job of running the planet... We'll never know.

This isn't what you think it is.
30 years ago when Jimmy Carter was president nuclear was very possible. These EXECUTIVE ORDER were to make sure the country wouldn't fall in chaos.
Yes the president has the power to do these things only in case there was little, to no government left.
Remember this was around for 30 years...I don't think we have anything to worry about.

Honey I totally agree with you. I won't get into why I despise Bush and our entire Government because I could go on forever, but I will say this, I totally support our troops in every way possible. I have total respect for each and every one of the men and women that are fighting for our country. Some people believe one must support and respect Bush in order to support and respect our troops and that simply is NOT true.

Politics are the Main source of what governs us at times and takes votes who we vote for. when some1 saids about governments going to make us all sorry is that we as the ppl of the United States don't stand up for who we vote for or do we make some kind of asking our government which governs us by them to ask us as ppl to vote
