5 points for answering a question. More points = more questions you can ask/answer/vote on in a day. In the top left hand corner of the Yahoo Answers webpage you can see your points. If you click on that number, it explains everything.

When you get to level 2 (250-999 points) you get a special Yahoo! Answers thank you.

When you get to level 3 (1000-2499 points) you get a SUPER-special Yahoo! Answers thank you.

Both "thank you's" are listed as "coming soon", but Yahoo doesn't specify what they are.
