Do This:
Pinch the skin on one edge of your belly button...then imagine poking an ice pick through it...do you think that would hurt???YES!!
Don't do it please, 13 is too young...and it looks trashy when you're that age.

I think 13 is way too young. I can't believe your parents are signing the consent form.
You should wait until your old enough to go on your own. 18 years old.
Pain wise, it's different for everyone. I didn't even feel mine getting done. It hurt after wards though. Bending over to put socks on and stuff like that hurt for a while.
If you do get it done, just make sure you follow ALL the instructions given to you by the piercer and you shouldn't have any problems. Don't touch the piercing with dirty hands, clean it well and often. You don't want it to get infected.

Yes it hurts (friend owns a parlor) I would like to make one small observation about belly buttons and tummies:
If they are nice ones, they are perfect as they are and cannot be improved by mutilation or dangling trinkets from them.
If it is a not-so-nice tummie, why would you want to call attention to it?
You're 13. Wait a few years, the fad will pass and you'll have a lovely and intact belly button.

It really hurts! lol with mine the guy doing it was trying to chat up my mate so he left the needle in for apsolotely ages and ages. it hurts like **** but the end result is brilliant! Dont listen to all the people saysing stuff abou how you're too young because you aren't! Have fun!

It will hurt like hell. Lots of intense pain. Blood all over the place. Possible infections. Especially if you are under 16. One girl in New York died from one last year.

Yes it hurts, and are your parents aware you're doing this? If they don't and you try going to a reputable piercing salon for this, they won't do it unless your parents give them written permission. If they ARE willing to do it without parental permission, DON'T LET THEM. If they're not worried about getting sued, they probably aren't worried about basic hygeine, and you can get some very nasty diseases that way.

Well actually i'm 13 to0!!!n i got mine pierced a week ago LOL!!!n it hurts really bad!!!!mine hurted 4 like 2 days!!!but u will get over it!!!
but just take good care of it!!!but it just hurts 4 like 4 seconds !!!

OK, ya it is gonna freakin hurt BUT...
you can use ambesol (that baby teething gel) to numb the area first. I did that when I pierced my kids ears, and it takes some of the pain out.

it hurts for a little while and it's sore for a few weeks. but make sure that's what you want before you do it. It's a big step and it doesn't scar very pretty. Seems to me like your having some doubts. My advice...don't do it unless you are 100% sure that you want a hole in your naval.

It wont hurt that bad. But it will make you look like a young ho even though you may not be. Tatoos are great for this as well.
