The once clean and wonderful Yahoo now looks like a clone of MSN. Has the company been hijacked by soul-less clones or does it just seem that way?

I agree. I don't like the new look at all. It's very annoying. I wonder why they felt they needed to mess with something everyone liked. On a different note, I do like the way the new Yahoo mail looks.

Welcome to the "new and improved" Yahoo. Nobody I've met who uses Yahoo likes the new, cluttered home page. But nothing we can say or do will change the minds of the Yahoo corporate pencil pushers who decided we need this clutter. The new home page is almost ready to leave testing and the old home page will be no more! Won't have any way to access it or revive it. :-(

yahoo is very attentive to the changes they make to their services. Take the new email beta for example. as we test it out, they put improvements into it to make it reliable, stable, and easy to navigate. they want their services to be the best, and they work very hard to make it that way. I see it as a fine-tuned original built from the ground up, rather than being a clone of anybody else's service.

I know, it looks terrible! Ok, I got some advice from another Yahooer, wish I could remember her name so I could thank her. Anyways, go up to tools, hit internet options and then delete cookies. It will ask you something else but I can't remember. Once you do this your original yahoo home will return to normal. Good luck!

A clone of AOL too. I don't like it at all and I will use the current one as long as I can.

All you have to do is make your MyYahoo! page... then, it has what you need and want.... I don't even bother with that..... I just put the sign in to 360 as my home page... then I just do whatever I'm gonna do.... I see this kind of question and reactions a lot... never understood it.... still don't.

I know, I hate the "new look". I got so used to knowing right where I was going to click as soon as the page loaded and this has really thrown me off!
Thank God for stsmet9...thanks for the tip!!!
