http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AloKc7IiMbk4h0vBhYmfD87sy6IX?qid=20060712040351AAh7akl This is the first question that kind of explains everything. I talked to him on the phone and now he is coming over to see me tonight. He says 'i believe that i may have been mean and disrespectful but i think that i was doing it and didnt know it.' which is one of the excuses he used the last time we fought about this. What should i say to this? This isnt something i should have to deal with and overlook pretending that he doesnt know that hes doing it.

You already know where you're going with this...He may genuinely be unaware of his attitude towards you - but yet you don't believe him. The trust between you is evaporating and so is the respect.

I think tonight might be the last night he comes round as your b/f

Be Strong

I read the other post you made and I don't see why you should subject yourself to this kind of abuse. And yes, it is a form of abuse. And you're right....you should not be expected to overlook it. YOU aren't the one doing anything wrong. Everyone has to go through a bad relationship before finding THE ONE. He may not be the one for you. Be careful and guard your heart.

Being mean and disrespectful because you didn't know you were doing it is an excuse the first time. After that, it's because you don't care, or because you can get away with it.

You're right, and the answer is: don't feed the animals. If he won't stop, bye bye.

You should come straight out and say that the excuse he gave you was lame, and that he knew what he was doing and saying otherwise he wouldn't have said it. And you should tell him that you can't continue to be in a relationship with someone who is going to treat you like crap, and that you want to move on with your life and find someone who is gonna treat you like the prince that you are, with respect and love, not rude comments. And that it's to late to change your mind.

Hate to break it to you but, a leopard can't change it's spots. Either accept that that is part of the him you fell in love with or get out. It's that simple.
