Miami's got four guaranteed victories coming between the Jets and Bills. The Pats are no longer the powerhouse they used to be, so I figure on at least a split between them. They need to manufacture six wins from their other ten games to make it (10-6 won't get you into the playoffs in this conference...ask Kansas City). Culpepper's decision-making will improve in the face of the huge chip that's now on his shoulder...he's got something to prove after that terrible partial-season he went through. No Ricky means no distractions for the team and Ronnie Brown is fully up to the task. Chambers is a hot wideout that doesn't get the pub he deserves and McMichael is a dependable (and sizeable) second option at TE. If a decent #2 WR pulls through to help Chambers out, there won't be much to stop the Dolphin offense but Coach Saban...

Miami should be in the hunt for the AFC East title with the Patriots. With the addition of Daunte Culpepper the Dolphins now have the one piece they have been missing since Dan Marino left. With Ronnie Brown in the backfield and Chris Chambers out making plays day in and day out Culpepper is going to find the transition from Mineesota to Miami to be very pleasurable. I believe Miami finishes 11-5 at worst this season. They have a strong offensive line and a defense that will be rakned in the top five at the end of the year. Anything less than 11-5 with the talent that team possesses would be underachieving.

I think the Dolphins will go to the playoffs with the help of Daunte Culpepper. He is a good quarterback and can help at least get them in the playoffs.

The AFC-East was once dominated by the New England Patriots and the kicking of Adam Venatieri. With 10 starters from the 2003-4 Superbowl victories gone from the New England Patriots, there is a lot of headroom in the AFC-East.
The Jets traded away their pro bowl vets, Kevin Mawae and Ty Law and one of the Jets top players in John Abraham to the Atlanta Falcons. The Jets also passed on the Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart and there is a new coach in town, Eric Mangini, stuck in some type of quagmire with the salary caps.
Who's to be the Jets quarterback ?... Chad Pennington with his already twice torn rotator-cuff surgery.
And, Buffalo isn't going to be much of a threat in the AFC-EAST.
So, my predictions for the AFC-EAST...
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Buffalo Bills

I think Miami will make the playoffs because of good coaching, good receivers a good defense and a good running game. Adding Culpepper and Harrington will do nothing to help that. They are both garbage.

I don't think so. I believe that Culpepper is one of the most over-rated players in the game.

No and why do you think Culpepper is that good? He was passing to Moss. I may not like Moss's attitude and antics but the man could catch.

If they make the playoffs, it won't be because of Culpepper, he might be the dumbest, fatest quarterback to ever wattle onto the field. Total loser.

They will be lucky to be 8-8. Their hope for 2006 is now playing for the Toronto Argonauts and listening to the old Sublime song, "Smoke Two Joints."
