If I sing loud, I can't sing all that high, only on good days. But when I sing to myself, or basically NOT loud, I can sing them PERFECTLY just like I need to. So is there a way to make my voice range higher when I sing loud.

You have to contract your abs because it helps control your diaphram which then helps you sing better. Although, voice lessons are really great, but you have to find an excellent teacher...that's the key to successful training.

I'm a singer too! :) You don't necessarily NEED to sing too loud but it definitely depends on what you are doing. If you sing opera than you will definitely need to sing loud, no doubt about that. If you sing for a musical than mics will be used so there's no problem there. If it is impossible for you to sing as high as you need to than I suggest working on your lower range. Not everyone has a high range but they may have a beautiful lower range without even knowing it. Good luck on whatever you are aspiring to do! :) Let me know how it goes: lmead06@yahoo.com

I'm kind of the same way. Obviously singing from your diaphram--pushing the air out w/your tummy, not your throat--and practicing up and down scales. Drinking lots of water also helps your voice. Sometimes a little sip of lemon juice can clear up your throat if there's stuff in there restricting your "louder" voice. Also, never drink or eat dairy right before you sing--or anything too cold, either.

Try using your head voice more, opening your mouth more as you try to hit the higher notes. Also, practice singing scales and try everyday to hit a note a little bit higher.

Practice. Maybe go to a voice instructor. Go up the scale on the piano (Do re mi) all the way up to the next octave (the next Do)

Sure there is. Smash your toes with a hammer. You'll have the highest range of anyone for miles around.
