Why is it that there are more older men with younger women than younger men with older women?

I work at a dating agency. Older men are SOOOO afraid of getting older they think that a younger woman will keep them young. Older women can appriciate the refinement of an older man, but older men are just scared and ALWAYS want to have a younger woman on their arm!!!

cause men are perverts.... j/k not really. Have you ever heard that thing about how men like women like their mothers, not literally but in a sense i.e. your mom kept good house and cooked dinner for the family every night so the ideal woman you would like would do the same. Maybe it's the same way with women, our dads repaired our cars, houses, and manly things like that and of course a guy in his twenty's isnt going to know all that because he has to learn it so a woman might go after a guy who already can do it all therefore and older man.

I 've never had a problem with younger men . In fact they are more fun. I can't understand why a young woman would want an old coot there can't be that much money in the world.

Because women aren't as shallow as men. They can accept some gray hair and a few wrinkles easier than a man can in a woman.

Age matters not in Love or Money!!! personally Ive dated older...& waaay younger, never a huge issue....

Thanks las_vegas_golfer. Tell them!! I'm older than my husband by 6 years -- which may not seem like that much, but. . . my hair is mostly grey (because he *likes* it that way!!!) and his is not, so he looks much younger than me. We've been very happily married for 18 years now. Second time for me, 1st for him. I am NOT his mother, we are *both* financially secure, and work, and he does just as much of the housework and cleaning and cooking as I do. It's a wonderful life.
