I HATE alltel. They refuse to work with you and they're simply incompetent snobs. I'm looking at switching to Verizon, but I would like to hear your stories about their customer service. Do they try to work with you? Do you feel like they don't really care that you are their customer? Do they solve problems or just divert your call? Explain.

Thanks, YaskY. That's the kind of answer I'm looking for. I'm not really asking for your stories with other companies or other services by Verizon. Please just tell me about your experiences with the wireless customer service. Thanks.

T-Mobile is the best, and has the proof to show it. T-Mobile has earned the JD Powers best in customer satisfaction award three years in a row, an is currently at the top for the fourth year. Customer care is known for being friendly and solving your problem. If there is a solution to be had for your problem, you will get one. I used to have Verizon and HATED it...they never helped at all, and I got hung up on constantly!!

I walked into a Verizon store in the Trumbull Mall in Trumbull CT to buy a screen protector for my new phone. Got lousy, unprofessional, cunning, and unqualified service from a salesman who wound up putting this expensive glass protector on my phone with a dozen or so bubbles where there were dust particles remained after a careless wipe down. He even told me that he didn't promise "perfection". My lesson learned is that I should have never let that guy touch my phone thinking that he didn't care and didn't give a rat *** for the quality of his work. It was very obvious in his don't care attitude. Stay away!!!

Verzion is like the airlines! That's bad! They can change your package whenever they want in fact breaking the contract, but your not out of the contract. Your just getting less programing than what you signed up for. In my case they moved some of my channels to the more expensive package and stated if I wanted those channels I could pay more. I can't wait 6 months and I'll get my channels back and have a real contract.

I am satisfied with the wireless coverage but it stops there. Customer service representatives are incompetent, inconsistent, and in my experience usually rude. This applies to the call center as well as brick and mortar locations where the representatives are ignorant of the products and services. No two representatives will give you the same answer, and the conflict that exist between a corporate store and an authorized representative store is evident in the products, services, and jabs the representatives take at one another.

Uncaring! As a new widow I wanted to access life line. However, the billing was under my husband's name. When I tried to change it, I was told I was considered a new customer and my phone service would be discontinued. So that would mean I would have to pay again as tho I was a new customer. Unbelievable, just to put the billing under my name!!

This question hits a little to close to home. i am the Verizon account manager for my company and I can tell you it SUCKS (on the business side)!!!!

They have ridiculous service charges that other providers do not charge. No 2 representatives will give you the same answer to questions and their follow-up does not exist.

I, literally, have to speak to them everyday. They screw up orders and give little attention to detail!

Glad to help. Just finished "dealing" with them. Again! They have lost several of our payments. Held onto checks for more than two months w/o cashing (and have the nerve to threaten line suspension)

I can't tell you about Verizon wireless but I can tell you that their dsl tech support is great! one thing I have found out about c/s is that sometimes you get great ones and sometimes you get the dumbos. If I get a dumbo I will ask them to put me back in the Que hoping next time I get one with brains. but that goes for all places not just Verizon

i had a problem installing my dsl and tech support was very polite with following through so that i could be connected. the telephone service is good, although i haven't had to call for assistance. however, i would never deal with at&t again, as they lied about my rates and when i called to clear it up, they refused to settle the problem and even mocked me over the phone.
