these "allegations" are true, the Iraqi govenment was very eager to sell oil to us, the British, French, Chinese... etc. unfortunatly because Saudi, Syrian, Iranian, Jordanian... etc. continue to terrorize the population of Iraq, pruduction comes out in a trickle far lower then pre-war

The US gets little of its oil from the middle east. Most comes from countries close to the US.
