You chose right! You should continue watching and rooting for the Steelers because they're going to be in the Playoffs for many years to come! And don't even get me started on how many Super Bowls they're going to win! GO STEELERS!

This answer is based on bias and a little history you should like the New York Giants due to their awesome and the Brits were in that part of the world during the American Revolution. Also the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Redskins would fit the "historic" bill.

I'm a Brit to and the 2 teams that recently always seem to do well enough to warrant some airtime in the UK are New England and Indianapolis.

I may take a load of grief from our neighbours across the pond for it but that's the way it seems to me.

At the end of the day just support who you like.

Well then why not base it off that and become a steeler fan. Maybe do a little research on some of the teams and see which ones you like and go from there

Go with the Colts. They'll make the playoffs easy in their division, and , provided they don't screw it up in the first round at home, will have potential to go far in the playoffs. The Panthers wouldn't be a bad pick either.

i have liked american football since the 80's and have followed the cowboys ever since, and all because my aunt bought me a sweatshirt for my birthday(they are her team).

so my advice is don't do an american version of the "man united syndrome" and glory hunt/jump on the victory bandwagon, but go for any team which takes your eye, literally. but if you can't be bovvered then (in my view) the decent teams are the seahawks, packers, buccaneers, panthers, patriots, broncos, and my boys of course - hope this helps

This may not get the best answer, but go for the Baltimore Ravens... More class and exciting play makes them a better bet!
